The 2019 Master Europeans would be in Rosas, Spain from 14 to 20 June.  This was the site of the 2007 Masers Worlds and is a superb place to sail and visit.

The 31 west coast Masters who showed up at Cascade Locks, Oregon, for the 2006 Masters PCCs were treated to bright sunshine, mild (by Gorge standards) breezes, and a sailing lesson by San Francisco Master Brodie Cobb.

In a building westerly on Saturday, Brodie quickly learned how to play the shifts up the Oregon (left) side of the first beat, then put the pedal down to leave the fleet on the downwind legs, winning all five races. He throttled back a bit in the more moderate breeze on Sunday, leaving line honors to Vancouver's Al Clark and Seattle's Dan Falk, but still cruised to a win in the regatta and the Masters division. Al finished second overall, second in Masters, and Dan was third overall and first Apprentice. Grand Master Bill Symes from Portland and Master Tracy Usher from San Francisco rounded out the top five. Newbie Great Grand Jay Winberg from Seattle topped his division, and Deirdre Webster from Vancouver was First Woman. Thanks to Kerry Poe and his CGRA crew for running another fantastic regatta and keeping the beer cold. Check out Sean Trew's great photos at http://www.pacificfog.net/photographs/06-08-19-web/.
